We set out to take a very transparent and inclusive approach so that all member organisations felt heard and respected.
It started with a exploratory session with the Chair and Executive Director to understand the motivations for the work and identify what success looked like for the association.
Rapid zoom chats followed, with Health Services Association members to determine why they joined, stay and what the experience is like for them. We combined the learnings from the interviews with a discovery workshop to establish a shared view of the current reality and aspirations
Behind the scenes we developed a draft strategy to act as a catalyst to spark healthy debate amongst the members. We followed up with hosting a strategy workshop where we refined the thinking into a plan all members could get behind. Having the insights to ground the strategy in made the workshop run a lot smoother.
