the design challenge

To create an organisational wide strategy that respects and captures the bold and exciting ambitions of the Royal Rehab team. The challenge was multifaceted. Not only did we have to deliver a robust strategy based on market trends and analysis, but we also needed to ensure that the staff were co-creators in this journey. The aim was to create a bottom-up strategy that could be implemented organically, with complete buy-in from the team.

the solution

Our solution was a growth strategy, deeply rooted in comprehensive market and trend analysis. But we didn’t stop at the numbers; we involved the staff through a series of iterative workshops, enabling them to share their perspectives and understand the 'why' and 'how' behind the strategy.

The project commenced with in-depth market research, including competitor analysis, customer behaviour, and emerging trends in the disability and health sector.

We then held a series of iterative workshops with staff to share the learnings and co-create the strategy. This included defining the specific initiatives, inter dependancies and identifying the required capabilities. Along the way we were careful to explore what the blockers might be and involve the staff in working through the potential solutions.

The result was a resilient, actionable growth strategy that was pressure tested from multiple perspectives. The staff didn’t just endorse it; they were integral to its creation, making the implementation phase much smoother.
